Cocktail Recipe: The Vaughan

Introducing “The Vaughan” cocktail. This robust, spirit-forward cocktail strikes a fine balance between bitter and sweetness, much the same way you’ll find in a good Negroni. It’s a shout out to our home town, and a showcase for one of our signature spirits – Darker Side. It’s also perfectly in season for spring – which is maple syrup season ’round these parts!

The Vaughan

Put your favourite cocktail glass in the freezer to chill, then pour into a tumbler:

  • 2 oz Darker Side

  • 1/4 oz Fernet-Branca

  • 1/2 oz dark maple syrup

  • 2 dashes bitters

Add 5-6 ice cubes, and stir for 40 seconds. Strain into the chilled glass, and garnish with a twist of citrus.

Enjoy with friends.

You can find Darker Side at our distillery bottle shop in Vaughan, or order online for delivery anywhere in Canada. Coming soon to select LCBO locations.

$49.95 / 750 ml / 46% abv.
